For this role, youll directly support private equity pipeline development by sourcing qualified leads within the PE sector. We pride ourselves on investing in our team and promoting from within. All SDRs receive training on Carta software, private market finance, and equity administration along with ongoing training in consultative sales, client management, negotiation and sales operations./ph3The Problems Youll Solve/h3ulliSeek out and qualify leads across PE backed companies/liliBecome an expert on Cartas core product suit and fundamental private equity principles/liliMaintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up, generating increased interest and excitement in Carta/liliWork with cross-functional teams to ensure top of funnel acquisition/liliBy supporting the SDR teams you will help drive the overall company pipeline/liliProvide timely and accurate front-line support for all prospective customers interested in Carta/liliEngage with prospective customers real-time via phone or zoom/liliExecute cold outreach campaigns leveraging a customer first approach to Finance leaders in the private equity space/li/ulh3About You/h3ulliHigh degree of personal accountability with relentless pursuit of continuous improvement/liliGrit - Ambitious, driven, and fearless in the face of rejection/liliCoachability - Tremendous desire to learn about FinTech and constantly improve in a no-egos environment/liliEmotional Intelligence - Ability to read emotional cues, understand a customers needs, and navigate a meaningful conversation and provide meaningful solutions/liliCustomer-Facing Experience - Experience working in a high-volume customer-facing role/liliAn Interest in Private Equity and the operations of a portfolio company/liliExcellent time management skills and attention to detail/liliPrevious experience in finance or private equity and/or track record of success in a lead generation role is a plus/liliAbility to break down and effectively communicate complex topics/liliExperience managing spreadsheets on Excel, Google Sheets, or similar productivity software tooling/li/ulpstrongPreferred/strong/pulliSaaS and software sales experience/liliPassion for or previous experience in Finance/li/ulh3Salary/h3pCartas compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and for applicable roles, commissions plans.
