Employment Litigation Associate

Our client, a nationally recognized management-side employment law firm with a growing presence in Denver, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Wage & Hour Litigation practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 4+ years of experience who is seeking substantial client contact, meaningful responsibility, and a sophisticated litigation platform. Non-partnership track candidates will be considered.

Key Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling wage and hour litigation, including class and collective actions under:

• The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
• Colorado wage and hour laws and regulations
• Candidates should possess strong working knowledge of state and federal wage and hour enforcement agencies, regulatory guidance, and related compliance issues.

Qualified applicants will demonstrate experience with:

• Drafting and responding to pleadings
• Managing written discovery
• Motion practice, including dispositive and class-related motions
• Taking and defending depositions
• Developing litigation strategy and managing matters through various phases of litigation

Candidates should have 4+ years of wage and hour litigation experience, strong academic credentials, excellent written and oral advocacy skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and be admitted to practice in Colorado. Compensation is expected to range from $190,000 to $235,000, with final salary determined based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
