Program Overview The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program is a development-focused role designed to prepare candidates for a future CVS Store Manager position. Key Responsibilities Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support your path to promotion. Support the store as a management team member and lead consistently with CVS values and policies. Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Be willing to accept promotion roles within the market that you work in. Accept promotion to Store Manager role at any location in the designated market. Transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market. Work a schedule that may vary based on business needs. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Bachelor's Degree preferred; relevant work experience may be considered. Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor. Ability to work a variable schedule. Willingness to accept promotion to Store Manager role in any location within the designated market. Weekly Hours & Time Type 45 hours per week, Full time. Pay Range $18.50 - $28.67 per hour (base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary). Actual offer will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors.
