We create technology to support their efforts and shape our future; our customers inspire everything we do.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement automated tests for performance, durability, scalability, and reliability of the directions and routing services running on AWS cloud platformCreate tools and scripts to automate the provisioning of load test environments for routing services in the AWS cloud. Analyze test runs for performance anomaliesWork with product engineers and development programmers to clearly describe identified anomalies, communicate repeatable steps, provide a reproducible environment, and verify fixesOrchestrate running performance tests using Jenkins pipelinesCreate and maintain dashboards to effectively communicate test results to software development and product management teamsProvide guidance about capacity planning and optimal system provisioning to customers who choose to deploy these web services in their own infrastructureRequirementsOne (1) year of experience in the job offered, or one (1) year of experience in a related occupationMust demonstrate experience in Apache JMeter, Python, Jenkins, and Amazon Web ServicesBachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in GIS, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldRecommended QualificationsTotal RewardsEsri’s competitive total rewards strategy includes industry-leading health and welfare benefits: medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance for employees (and their families), 401(k) and profit-sharing programs, minimum accrual of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy.
