Our eight-acre Evermore Bay, two championship golf courses, water sports facilities, pickleball courts, event spaces, and dining venues round out Evermore's luxurious, sophisticated offerings.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all benefits functions including enrollment, qualifying life events, reporting, open enrollment and billing coordination with vendors (including Dart Container).Audit monthly benefits invoices and internal program billing to ensure accuracy and timely payment including internal events.Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of team member benefits programs.Monitor and track payroll-related items including benefits deductions, special payroll time-off requests to ensure timely and accurate processing.Support budgeting, expense monitoring, and forecasting related to benefits and compensation programs.Manages, monitors and audits monthly benefits assist with budgeting, monitoring expenses and forecast financial adjustment. (Dart HRConnect, STD, LTD, medical, vision, dental & supplemental insurance programs)Manages, monitors and audits monthly FOLEY (driver license audit programs).Train, develop, and mentor including direct supervision of the People Benefits Specialist.The People Benefits Specialist provides administrative support and serves as the first point of contact for team members regarding documentation submissions, workers' compensation claims, and leave of absence processes.Supports while acting as the primary point of contact for team members, ensuring timely handling of documentation, workers' compensation, and leave of absence requests, and delegating cases to the appropriate stakeholders when required.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws including FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, and other statutory requirements.Oversee I-9 compliance within UKG and driver's license verification processes in partnership with Foley vendor systems.Manage workers' compensation claims, reporting, and ongoing case management with insurance carrier.Manage system permissions and support leaders with system functionality and best practices.Partner with Accounting to ensure payroll accuracy, including timecards, approvals, garnishments, and deductions.Support the Director of People Operations in managing daily department functions and priorities.Align People & Culture practices with operational demands, including staffing levels and scheduling guidelines.Support onboarding, orientation, compliance training, and certification programs.Administrator for the internal People & Culture information system UKGPerforms other duties as requested by management.Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers.Assists with the formulation of PC and resort operations policies and procedures.Manage unemployment claim responses; and assist with employee relations matters.Education, Skills, and Experience:College degree or equivalent work experience.5+ years of People & Culture management experience required in a high-volume resort.Valid Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.Excellent management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Outstanding organizational, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google business or similar software.Able to read and understand financial and budgets.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Inspired always to lead Evermore brand and team member values.Self-starter that can work independently with minimal supervision.Physical Requirements:Able to safely lift, pull and push up to 25 pounds.Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach periodically.Visually look at a computer for extended periods.Able to sit and use the computer for hours at a time.Subject to environmental conditions, work activities can occur inside and outside.Repetitive hand motions, such as typing.Evermore CultureAt Evermore, our purpose is Togetherness, and our vision is to make a more together world possible.Through relational wellness, we cultivate an inclusive, people-first culture where collaboration, trust, and respect empower every Team Member to thrive.
