Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care to patients in a progressive care unit, ensuring adherence to hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes in a Level I Trauma Center environment.
• Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures with precision and care.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions and treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic charting systems.
• Provide patient education and support to families regarding ongoing care plans.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Tennessee, or a compact RN license in compliance with NLC guidelines.
• Minimum two years of experience in a Stepdown or similar unit within a large hospital setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience in Level I Trauma environments and travel nursing preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical environment.
• Ability to accommodate schedule changes as needed and meet staffing requirements.
