Experienced Construction Estimator needed to support increased project proposal workload for a growing organization.

Location: This position will be based in Canoga Park, CA.

Responsibility:

• Enter new customers and customer projects into QuickBooks.
• Create customer jobs into QuickBooks.
• Create new estimates in QuickBooks.
• Estimate weekly, monthly and yearly reports maintenance.
• Gather weekly information from estimating team.
• Put all information together in weekly reports.
• Enter Estimate numbers and total.
• Update notes section.
• Update Sales Reps with status of all pending estimates.
• Vendor quote request follow up.
• Maintain a calendar with follow up dates for all vendor quotes.
• Email and Phone call follow up a day before quote is due back to Promotion Plus.
• Vendor cost research.
• Assist in research for new products and/or vendors.
• Create project spreadsheets for programs.
• Use existing templates to enter information for new projects.
• Update existing project spreadsheets.
• Maintain existing project spreadsheets updated with new information as it becomes available.

Job Requirements:

• Proven work experience in similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Administrative and computer (MS Excel) skills a must. Excel, Word, and Spreadsheet experience.
• Working knowledge of Quickbooks is a plus.
• Self-Motivator. Strong sense of urgency.
• Personable with excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service.
• Shows consistent professionalism and good judgment.
• Must be able to function as a team and independently.
• Organized and confident.
• Multi-tasking a must.
• Attention to detail a must.
• High ability to retain information.
• Tenacious.
• Customer Service skills a must.

Job Type: Full-time.

Salary: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour.
