An established construction company in Woodland Hills is looking for a Construction Estimator.

Job Description:

Must be willing to work out of Corporate office in Woodland Hills.
Self- perform structural concrete experience.
General contracting experience.
Multi-Family podium projects.
Design/Build Long-span Parking Structures.
Detailed quantity Take-offs.
Preparing complete project estimates.
Preparing general conditions estimates
Monitoring cost trends to detect over-runs and potential problem areas.
Participating in the value engineering process.
Developing, updating, and maintaining unit cost figures, estimating database (s).
Interfacing with subcontractors, suppliers, upper management, operations personnel, clients, and potential clients.
Follow up on proposals, preconstruction activities and assisting in development of staff.
Other duties as may be directed.

Skills required include but are not limited to:

An aptitude and desire for growth.
Proven ability to develop estimating strategies and procedures.
Good subcontractors and supplier's relationships.
Abreast of market activity to help position the company for strategic opportunities, and to win projects.
Proven ability to develop and expand networks and relationships quickly and within a multitude of settings.
Direct experience driving the development of project proposals and interviews.
Ability to understand and articulate the company's strategy in various ways.
Strong communication abilities; including presentation skills (verbal and written).

Salary: Up to $200k a year (dependent on experience)
