Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year A bit about us We are working with a busy boutique law firm in Tampa, FL that is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their IP/Trademark team! The firm represents major trademark owners in managing their trademark portfolios, and routinely handles copyright and trademark registration, policing, and related disputes. Location: Tampa, FL (this is an on-site position) Base Salary Range: $120k-$135k/year + bonuses Billable Hour Requirement: 1800/year Why join us? Job Details The Associate Attorney will: Provide defamation defense and prepublication review and advice Assisting clients with public records matters Responding to media subpoenas and helping to protect newsgathering Performing trademark clearance reviews Prosecuting trademark and copyright applications Responding to PTO office actions Handling trademark opposition and domain-name proceedings Litigating media, trademark, and business disputes in Florida's state and federal courts; and drafting trademark and copyright agreements. Qualifications Experience in litigation generally, and media and trademark law in particular.
