The position may also require conducting investigations for non-conforming materials, assisting with shelf-life sample handling, and providing online QC backup, sometimes off hour, weekend QC backup. Essential Functions Receiving Inspection Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging materials according to QA/QC work instruction. Inspect incoming bulk materials (sugar, soybean oil, non‑GMO soybean oil). Collect samples using hygiene method when needed according to the receiving manual. Organize and update Raw Material Manual. Organize and update receiving records. Organize and update COA from suppliers. Work with QA Supervisor to conduct investigation for non‑conformance RM/PM. Inspect return goods for quality condition. Organize and account for shelf‑life samples. Online Inspection Conduct online inspections and verify the control parameters according to procedures and instructions for production, filling and packaging process. Record result of inspection, including weigh‑up, filling temperature, packaging material, product code, container closure, etc. Perform GMP/hygiene inspection based on GMP and hygiene standards. Correct GMP/hygiene violation and report to production supervisor and/or QA Manager. Conduct daily and monthly sanitation inspections, including pre‑operation inspection and post‑operation inspection. Perform ATP test and environmental swabbing. Record the result of inspection and communicate with Production Supervisor and Quality Assurance Manager. All jobs shall be conducted timely according to QA/QC work instruction. Other tasks Observe and record nonconforming products/production and promptly communicate with production supervisor and Quality Assurance Manager or designee for immediate action. Assist Quality Assurance Manager with any tasks related to quality compliance. Perform other special assignments from the management. Competencies Action Oriented Customer Focus Time Management Qualifications Education, Skills and Experiences Minimum a high school diploma or general education (GED). Candidate must be able to work independently and in cross‑functional teams to achieve established goals. Individual must be detailed‑oriented, quality‑oriented, with high sense of responsibility. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form. Language Skills Candidate must be able to speak, write, read and understand English to perform daily functions. Bilingual in English/Chinese or Spanish preferred. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to perform daily job functions. The employee is required to stand, sit, kneel, and walk when performing essential job functions. Occasional lifting and/or moving up 50 pounds. Work Environment Driving to different LKK locations on the same street (INC, Ventura) may be required. The noise level in the work environment may be high and individuals who work in certain areas need to wear proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
