Now Hiring: Medical Office Receptionist/Front Desk Personnel – Prosthetic & Orthotic Clinic

We are a locally owned, small prosthetic and orthotic clinic that has been in business for almost 30 years. We are dedicated to providing personalized care that helps our patients regain mobility, independence, and confidence. We’re looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Medical Office Receptionist to become an important part of our close-knit team.

As the first person our patients meet, you’ll help create a warm, welcoming experience while supporting the daily operations of our clinic. If you enjoy building relationships, working collaboratively, and making a meaningful impact in a small-business environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

·        Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and a positive attitude

·        Answer and direct incoming phone calls

·        Schedule and coordinate patient appointments

·        Verify insurance benefits and assist with obtaining prior authorizations

·        Check patients in and out, collect co-pays, and process payments

·        Maintain accurate electronic patient records while protecting confidentiality

·        Communicate with patients, referral sources, insurance companies, and healthcare providers

·        Assist with administrative tasks, including scanning, faxing, filing, and medical records

·        Support the clinical team to ensure efficient clinic operations and exceptional patient care

Qualifications:

·        High school diploma or equivalent

·        Previous experience in a medical office, healthcare, or customer service setting preferred

·        Experience with insurance verification, authorizations, or medical billing is a plus

·        Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills

·        Comfortable using computers, electronic health records (EHR), and Microsoft Office

·        A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
