Infusion Pharmacist

Location: Greensboro, NC (On-site)
Pay: $65.75/hour (W2)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM (Full Time); optional/possible weekend on-call
Type: W2 Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview

We’re hiring an Infusion Pharmacist to support safe, accurate medication dispensing and patient care, with a strong emphasis on compounding and sterile preparation . This role includes working closely with providers and supervising pharmacy staff to ensure compliance, quality, and excellent patient support.

Key Responsibilities

• Accept and dispense prescription medications in accordance with all laws and regulations
• Monitor medication adherence and identify over-usage patterns
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy files
• Counsel patients on medication use, dosing, storage, side effects, and interactions
• Provide patient services (as applicable), such as blood pressure checks and cholesterol management
• Compound medications for internal/external use and prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures
• Supervise pharmacy staff (technicians/clerks) and support workflow operations
• Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, interns, and other healthcare professionals

Required Qualifications

• PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy)
• Active North Carolina Pharmacist License
• Compounding experience (required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Acute care and/or home infusion experience (strong plus)
• Experience supervising pharmacy staff
• Sterile prep experience
