Legal Assistant

A respected insurance defense firm is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to support three busy partners in a fully remote, permanent role. This is a rare opportunity to join a small, fast-paced team where attention to detail and independent initiative are essential to success. What You’ll Do: Provide comprehensive litigation support to three high-volume attorneys in an insurance defense practice Prepare and manage legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and e‑filings File motions and other responsive pleadings in courts throughout Washington State Maintain calendars, track deadlines, and ensure timely follow‑up on case‑related matters Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel Stay organized and proactive in a remote environment What We’re Looking For: Litigation experience, ideally in insurance defense Extensive experience filing motions and other responsive pleadings in courts throughout Washington State Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to anticipate needs without repeated instruction Strong communication and organizational skills A reliable collaborator who thrives in a close-knit team environment Tech‑savvy and comfortable working independently in a remote setting Proactive, dependable, and able to prioritize effectively in a deadline‑driven environment This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigation assistant who thrives in a small firm setting and is looking for a stable, fully remote role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
