Duration: 6+ Months Job Objective:
A detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Specialist responsible for supporting daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and enhancing employee experience. Serves as a key point of contact for employees and management on HR-related matters, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration. Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues in a timely and professional manner
- Support investigations and documentation related to workplace concerns
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling
- Facilitate onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
- Maintain accurate candidate and hiring records
- Maintain and update employee data in HRIS systems
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and labor regulations
- Generate reports and support audits as needed
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Support payroll coordination and ensure accuracy of employee data
- Communicate compensation and benefits information clearly to staff
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal employment laws
- Support implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures
- Assist with compliance training and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate employee training sessions and development initiatives
- Track training completion and maintain related records
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in HR support, recruiting, or employee services preferred
- Collaborative office environment with cross-functional interaction
- May handle sensitive and confidential information regularly
