Job Objective:
A detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Specialist responsible for supporting daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and enhancing employee experience. Serves as a key point of contact for employees and management on HR-related matters, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations

• Serve as a trusted resource for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns
• Assist in resolving employee relations issues in a timely and professional manner
• Support investigations and documentation related to workplace concerns

Recruitment & Onboarding

• Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling
• Facilitate onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
• Maintain accurate candidate and hiring records

HR Administration

• Maintain and update employee data in HRIS systems
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and labor regulations
• Generate reports and support audits as needed

Benefits & Compensation Support

• Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries
• Support payroll coordination and ensure accuracy of employee data
• Communicate compensation and benefits information clearly to staff

Compliance & Policy Implementation

• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal employment laws
• Support implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures
• Assist with compliance training and regulatory requirements

Training & Development

• Coordinate employee training sessions and development initiatives
• Track training completion and maintain related records

Skills & Competencies

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office

Education & Experience (this is not required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in HR support, recruiting, or employee services preferred

Work Environment

• Collaborative office environment with cross-functional interaction
• May handle sensitive and confidential information regularly
