Make an impact supporting students in an engaging school environment as a paraprofessional. This full-time, onsite contract assignment runs through June 2027 and focuses on providing essential support in an Autistic Support classroom. Work closely with experienced educators and contribute to a positive, student-centered atmosphere.

Key qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or PCA, particularly in a special education or Autistic Support setting, is beneficial
• Punctual, reliable, and flexible with a strong commitment to student well-being
• Comfortable providing personal care and safety assistance as needed
• Receptive to direction and guidance from teaching staff
• Must be CPR/First Aid and CPI trained, or willing to obtain certification within the first 10 school days (training opportunities will be provided if needed)
• Ability to obtain and submit all required clearances prior to start date

Role expectations:

• Provide hands-on support to students with a variety of needs, including personal care and safety, under the supervision of classroom teachers
• Assist with daily classroom tasks, ensuring a safe and structured learning environment
• Implement individualized strategies and promote positive student engagement
• Maintain a collaborative approach with teachers and classroom staff to support the best outcomes for each student
• Uphold confidentiality and district policies at all times

This contract position offers a pay rate of $22 per hour, with a steady daytime schedule (Monday to Friday, 8:50 AM to 3:50 PM, 32.5 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). You'll develop valuable skills while working as an integral part of a supportive team.
