Director of Sales and Leasing

The Director of Sales and Leasing greatly contributes to the purpose of the organization, helping seniors thrive in community. He or she builds and sustains strong Rental Income revenue by stewarding over the wellbeing of prospects who inquire about the community. Serve prospects though coordinating and initiating relational based leasing strategies and functions of the community. Implement leasing plans that will meet and exceed the overall Approved Budget occupancy goals and financial objectives. The Director of Sales and Leasing is responsible for overseeing, developing and implementing all leasing functions within the community. The position also requires being able to establish reciprocal and effective working relationships with all staff, residents and their families, and those individuals involved in organizations that support the senior housing industry. He or she manages all leasing efforts for the community, which includes developing and maintaining full occupancy within the parameters of the Approved Budget.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents and prospectsDisplays the Core Values of Servanthood, Stewardship, Character, and CompetencyGathers and organizes all required information necessary to complete a successful move in so that the appropriate department head (e.g. business office Coordinator) or Executive Director can complete move in paperworkMaintains a targeted network of referral sources, providing information via marketing materials or presentations as neededDevelops, manages, and monitors new leasing campaignsResearches, writes, and develops Creative Follow-up in order to connect, untangle emotions, and advance to the next logical stage in the sales process.Manages inventory of marketing materials and adheres to the Approved BudgetConducts CRM research and analyses results as neededEstablishes department goals and ensures all stated goals are metConduct tours, luncheons, or other strategies with prospective Residents and prospective Resident groupsPartner with all other department heads to support occupancy stabilizationWhen applicable or required, for lead generation, is responsible for conducting sales calls to designated targeted referral sources which may include but not be limited to physicians, hospitals, social workers, places of faith, and community organizationsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications & Physical Requirements:Working knowledge of leasing skills (E.g., Attunement, Connecting, Untangling Emotions, and Advancing to next logical step) as related to senior housingExcellent communication, social awareness, emotional intelligence, connection, and articulation skillsStrong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage self to meet fluid deadlines in a customer focused environment.Strong Discovery skillsAbility to define specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and timely goals and objectivesCommitment to continuous improvement of leasing and customer service practices while assuring thatcompleted work adheres to high standards of accuracy and excellenceHighly professional and dependableStrong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite, and Customer RelationSocial media skills, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, et cetera a plusDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentialityMotivational LeadershipEducation & Experience:College degree in Marketing or a related field preferredAt least two years of direct involvement in a selling-oriented environment with preference in sales and marketing of senior living or an equivalent combinationAt least one year of supervisory or management experience, when applicableCore Values Modeled as a 12 Oaks Leader:Character: The ability to meet the demands of realityCompetence: Operating with ExcellenceStewardship: The careful and responsible management of that which has been entrusted to one’s careServanthood: The role the leader plays while serving others in a physical, emotional, and spiritual aspect: while achieving the goals set forth by the business #J-18808-Ljbffr
