Job Title

Registered Nurse – Electrophysiology Lab

Location

Roanoke, VA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Rotating late shifts | No weekends | No on-call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Electrophysiology Lab setting, supporting diagnostic and interventional EP procedures
• Perform scrub duties during EP procedures, maintaining strict sterile technique throughout
• Conduct EKG lead placement, dysrhythmia recognition, and real-time cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Operate and assist with EP-related equipment including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and EP mapping systems
• Manage isolation precautions, equipment handling, and supply inventory within the EP Lab
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• EP Lab clinical experience with EP mapping
• Scrub experience required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Strong cardiac background with demonstrated dysrhythmia recognition and interpretation skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Hands-on experience with Siemens, Phillips, Carto Ensite, Cardiolab, and/or related EP imaging and mapping platforms
• Familiarity with fluoroscopy and ultrasound equipment in a cardiac lab environment
• Experience in an acute care or teaching hospital setting
