Payroll Specialist

Job Description Fabletics is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Payroll team. This role is responsible for supporting accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, responding to employee inquiries, assisting with audits and compliance requirements, and partnering with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, positive, and eager to learn. This person should be comfortable managing multiple assignments, following direction, asking questions when needed, and contributing to a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities Support accurate and timely payroll processing. Maintain payroll records and employee payroll data. Respond to payroll‑related questions with professionalism and care. Assist with payroll reports, reconciliations, audits, and compliance documentation. Partner with HR, Finance, and internal teams to resolve payroll matters. Support ad hoc payroll projects, process improvements, and system‑related tasks. Stay curious about technology, automation, and AI‑enabled ways to improve payroll work. Qualifications Payroll, HR, accounting, finance, or related experience preferred. Recent college graduates with strong analytical and customer service skills are encouraged to apply. Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow‑through. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and team‑oriented mindset. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. FPC or CPP certification preferred. Ideal candidate brings foundational AI literacy, including experience using generative AI tools, and a proactive mindset to experiment with new technologies to drive productivity and innovation. Where We Are This role will be based in our El Segundo Headquarters. Compensation & Total Rewards The hourly range for this position is from $30.00‑$34.60/hr. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered hourly rate will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate’s related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
