Hospital Beds: 247

Compensation: Hourly - $300/hr, Overtime - $350/hr, Holiday - $435/hr, 24-Hour Call - $2020 per 24 hours, Night Call - $555/shift, Call Back - $390/hr.

Schedule

Day Coverage

Approximately 8-Hour Day Shifts

1-2 Weeknight Call Shifts

Approximately 1:6 Call Rotation

Weekend Call Required

24-Hour Weekend Call Includes 4 Gratis Hours

Patient Population / Volume

Patient Population: Adults

Approximately 14-16 Patients Per Day

STEMI Admissions: Approximately a Couple Per Week

Remaining Patients Primarily Consults and Follow-Up Rounds

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide Primarily Hospital-Based General Cardiology Coverage

Perform Rounding and Admissions

Manage Cardiology Consults and Follow-Up Rounds

Manage STEMI Admissions

Provide Inpatient Cardiology Support

Participate in Weeknight and Weekend Call

Read Echocardiograms

Read Cardiac Nuclear Studies

Perform and Interpret TEE

Perform Cardioversions

Required Procedures / Skills

Cardioversion

Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)

Echocardiography

Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Experience

Must Be Licensed / Privileged to Read Echo, Cardiac Nuclear, and TEE

Nuclear Board Certification Is Not Required

Experience With Cardiac Nuclear Medicine - Required

Support Staff

ARNP Support Available Daily Except Sunday

Requirements

Board Certified in Cardiology - Required

Washington Medical License, IMLC, or Candidates Requiring Licensure May Be Considered

BLS - Required

ACLS - Required

BLS and ACLS Must Be From the American Heart Association or American Red Cross as Applicable

Epic Experience - Required

At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Cardiology - Required

Recent Cardiovascular Clinical Activity Within the Previous 24 Months - Required

COVID-19 Vaccination - Required, No Exemptions

Washington License and DEA in Hand Preferred for Expedited Credentialing

Credentialing

Expedited Credentialing Anticipated

Emergency / Fast Privileges May Be Available Depending on the Role and Any Exceptions

Documentation of Cardiovascular Disease Services From the Previous 24 Months Required
