Locum Tenens Non-Invasive Cardiologist – Bellingham, Washington

HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist for a locum tenens assignment in Bellingham, Washington , beginning September 14, 2026.

This position is primarily focused on hospital-based cardiology support and offers a combination of inpatient consults, follow-up rounding, limited admissions, diagnostic interpretation, procedures, and rotating call coverage.

The physician will work within an established cardiology service and will have APP support on most days. The primary clinical responsibilities include managing adult cardiology patients, providing inpatient consultations and follow-up rounds, performing and interpreting TEEs and cardioversions, and interpreting echocardiography and cardiac nuclear studies.

The service reports approximately 14–16 patients per day , with admissions primarily limited to STEMI patients. The remaining workload consists largely of cardiology consultations and follow-up rounding.

Candidates must have recent clinical activity appropriate to the privileges requested and be comfortable providing both daytime cardiology coverage and rotating weeknight/weekend call.
