Requirements ***Client has 8hrs of Non-Billable hours for orientation hours *Call to include 4hrs of Gratis* PLEASE INCLUDE ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS PEOPLE IN YOUR PRESENTATION TEMPLATE Here are the questions that I will have for every presentation. 1. Do they take 24-hour General GI call? 2. Will they see patients in the clinic setting? 3. Will they scope patients in an outpatient endoscopy center/ambulatory surgery center? a. Is nurse sedation/conscious sedation Fentanyl and Versed ok with them? b. Will they only scope if sedation is strictly MAC/anesthesia only? 4. Are they open to scoping patients in our outpatient hospital block that are not suitable for the endoscopy center? a. We need to fill our 3 outpatient hospital blocks weekly. This is filled by either the General GI who is also on call or by another MD who is not on call. If Advanced Endoscopist: 1. Do they perform ERCP? a. Will they take 24-hour backup ERCP call when they are here? i. Example: A different General GI MD is on-call at hospital but they call this MD if ERCP is needed to come in. ii. If the backup ERCP call MD is not in the hospital on General GI call I would have them in the endoscopy center or in the clinic. b. Will they take 24-hour General GI/ERCP call? 2. Do they perform EUS? MD/DO Gastro Req approved through 1/14/27 Why Open- Gap in coverage Both clinic Hospital privileges needed Both inpatient outpatient setting # of beds 251 Call Required yes 24hr call consulting rounding inpatient/outpatient GI procedures Rounding admissions procedures required Demographics adult 18 Patients per day Clinic – 16 Outpatient endoscopy center – 14 -16 Hospital Census – varies Support Staff- will work w/ another GI MD that's part of the practice License- Will accept presents for candidates who don't hold active license or are pending license in respective state must be WA licensed when they start BC- other certs required by MSO EMR- Epic proficient user Travel- Yes w/ CAPS OT x1.25 Holiday x1.5 Shift Info: Day 5x8-Hour 07:00 - 16:00
