Cycle Counter

A Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting routine counts of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. This role plays a key part in minimizing inventory errors and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Perform daily or scheduled cycle counts across warehouse zones
• Compare physical counts to system records and investigate discrepancies
• Use inventory software or WMS to record and reconcile variances
• Report damaged, missing, or misplaced items to supervisors
• Assist with inventory audits, stock rotation, and location accuracy
• Collaborate with warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams to maintain inventory integrity
• Follow safety and quality standards during all inventory activities

Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic math and data entry skills
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory systems
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• 1–2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role preferred.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
• Experience using RF scanners, forklifts, or pallet jacks is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
