URGENT HIRING – Technical Specialist (Mainframe Expert)

accel bi corporation is actively seeking an experienced Technical Specialist (Mainframe Expert) for a full-time W2 opportunity with our organization.

Location: North Carolina (Local Candidates Only)

Work Arrangement: Onsite (No Remote / No Hybrid)

Salary Range: $80,000 – $85,000 annually (inclusive of applicable benefits)

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Mainframe Technical Specialist with extensive experience supporting enterprise mainframe environments. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical leadership across mainframe operations, administration, performance tuning, and release management.

Required Technical Skills (7+ Years Experience)

✔ Z/OS Operating System and its interrelationships/functionality

✔ CICS Administration, troubleshooting, and debugging

✔ DB2 administration and support tools/utilities

✔ SQL programming and performance optimization

✔ Endevor Configuration Management / Release Management

✔ IMS

✔ JCL

Preferred Skills

✔ Middleware Technologies

✔ MQ (Message Queue) Administration and Support

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level support for Z/OS environments

• Manage configuration and release management processes using Endevor

• Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and cost savings

• Support DB2 environments and related utilities

• Provide CICS administration, troubleshooting, and debugging support

• Collaborate with development teams and technical personnel to resolve complex issues
