The successful candidate will teach a minimum of fourcommunications courses per semester; draft comprehensive syllabi;create assessment tools to evaluate student academic performance;work closely with speech communications adjunct faculty; maintainaccurate attendance and grade reports; provide academic advisementto communications students; serve on Department, College, andUniversity committees; participate in Department, College, andUniversity programs, ceremonies, and special events, and otherduties as assigned. Education The successful candidate must possess a Ph.D. inCommunications. Knowledge Skills and Abilities The successful candidate should demonstrate a proven ability todevelop and teach courses in oral communications; public speaking;communications theory courses, and other undergraduate and/orgraduate communications courses as needed. The successful candidatemust be able to integrate multimedia technology into theirteaching.
