Financial Analyst

Financial AnalystThe Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing financial and analytical support to the psychiatry & neuroscience department and other clinical departments as needed. Collaborating with the Finance and Administrative Officer (FAO), the incumbent will assist in review of budgets, conduct reconciliation activities, understand and apply accounting principles and university policies to work to support accuracy of financial data for the department and complete financial transactions.Educational RequirementsBachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. RequiredIn lieu of the required degree, a candidate may substitute a total of six years of directly related experience. RequiredExperience Requirements2 - 4 years of related experience. RequiredExperience working in a financial role with UCR or in an academic/healthcare setting. PreferredExperience using UCR financial tools, EPIC Cube, and/or Tableau.
