TEAM LEADER MANUFACTURING

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Support the personnel and resources required for the departmentLead the Team Members within their areaLeader in departmental problem solving and process improvementResponsible for training manufacturing personnelRequired to flex into the production line to cover absenteeismResponsible for the team to achieve safety, quality and productivity targetsConduct daily Team meetings (safety, general communications, stretching, HR)Active participant in improving work instructions and communicating their changesPerforming other departmental duties as instructed by the department SupervisorThis position will be required to work mandatory overtime on an as needed basisExperience, Skills & Education:Experienced as a lead person in manufacturing3 years of experience in the manufacturing operationMust be able to work and lead in a team-centered environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentMust know and understand the principles used by K&N in manufacturingAbility to read, understand and create production reportsSkilled in the use of the measurement toolsComputer literate (word, excel, K&N-BMS)Additional Qualities Necessary:Must possess excellent leadership skillsMust be well organized and demonstrate ability to simultaneously handle multiple duties, prioritize, follow through on all tasks and projects, and meet pre-determined deadlinesAbility to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers and in a 1-on-1 or team situationConsistently portray a positive company image to K&N employees, customers & vendorsConsistently good attendanceWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
