Opportunity Details: Directly and indirectly supervise psychiatrists and psychiatric PA staff with Child cases. Participate in the management of complex cases in an administrative and consultative role. Maintain a good working relationship with services both within and outside of the Department of Psychiatry to ensure high-quality care for patients who present to the CPEP. Provide leadership in undergraduate medical education, including actively participating in the clinical and didactic teaching of medical students, PA Students, NP Students, and Addiction Fellows. Work collaboratively with the Medical and Pediatric Emergency Departments. Qualifications Active New York State Medical License. Board Certified in Psychiatry. Board Eligible or Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Wages and Benefits include: Annual Base Salary: $278,200* (board eligible); $288,500* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $450,020** (board eligible) and $461,350** (board certified) , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below: Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***. Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets. 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement. Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
