Physical Therapist (PT)

Physical Therapist – Community Stroke & Rehab Center Schedule: Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Sign‑on Bonus: $10,000 Responsibilities Assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of patients being treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy techs; may orient staff and students and assume supervisor duties in absence. Assesses patients’ needs; identifies and initiates appropriate physical therapy interventions. Works cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork. Observes and evaluates treatment effect and accomplishment of short‑ and long‑term goals; recommends changes to physician if needed. Performs an accurate assessment and reassessments for each patient as per policy, and performs timely QI scoring. Provides care to adult and geriatric patients in an adult medical rehabilitation program and services. Assesses patient pain interfering with optimal level of function and participation in rehabilitation; makes appropriate interventions to reduce pain and contacts physician for intervention as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy school. Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where the facility is located. Current BLS/CPR Card.
