Accounting Assistant
Acadia Association Management is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have accounting or banking experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to remain organized and professional while working under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks
- Process payments, invoices, and financial records
- Maintain accurate and organized account information
- Respond to customer questions professionally and courteously
- Assist with account research and issue resolution
- Meet financial reporting and processing deadlines
- Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment
- Support the accounting team with other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Associate degree required, preferably in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or banking
- Customer service experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to handle challenging customer situations professionally
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with computers and accounting software
