CVOR RN in Loma, CO

Deliver advanced, patient-focused care as an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse in a dynamic, supportive setting. Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position (duration to be discussed during the hiring process)
• Potential requirement to float to other departments as needed (within scope of competency)
• Possible on-call duties during scheduled shifts

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active RN license with current, unrestricted status
• Demonstrated expertise in CVOR nursing, including circulating and scrubbing responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of perioperative standards and protocols
• Proven ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Commitment to accuracy in documentation and regulatory compliance
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within a surgical environment
• Flexibility to adapt to patient and department needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently perform nursing functions and execute delegated medical functions within state Board of Nursing standards
• Continually assess and monitor patient health status in the CVOR setting
• Participate in the ongoing collection and evaluation of health data
• Deliver targeted patient education and post-operative counseling
• Provide supportive and restorative therapies to promote optimal patient outcomes
• Refer patients for additional evaluation or treatment as clinical needs dictate
• Administer and review therapy and treatment plans in collaboration with physician partners
• Document care and interventions accurately, adhering to hospital and regulatory requirements
• Exhibit a commitment to professional ethics, patient rights, and organizational values
