Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (Part-time)

Overview Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (Part-time) – Santa Ana, CA Cortica is looking for a part-time Speech Language Pathologist to join its growing multi-disciplinary team. Establish speech and language treatment goals through dynamic and standardized assessment tools. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to create collaborative treatment plans and integrative strategies. Provide individual therapy sessions as well as group and/or co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate. Maintain patient records, documentation, and appropriate billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy to ensure a high standard of care. Provide play-based and goal-based interventions to develop receptive and expressive language skills, considering sensory processing, regulation, and motor differences. Facilitate functional and stimulating experiences to target and achieve individualized goals. Develop strategies and supports to help individuals engage in communication across settings. Collaborate with individuals and families to understand their values, interests, and goals. Implement programming that considers all aspects of the child, including sensorimotor, cognitive, communicative, recreational, and social activities. Contribute to program development and educate patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs that complement treatment. Deliver at least 22.75 hours of direct patient care each week, excluding time for training, documentation, and administrative meetings. Qualifications Licensed to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of California. Excellent clinical skills. Desire to work in a multi-disciplinary clinical setting. Flexibility and openness to learning. Appreciation for a wide range of therapeutic approaches. Passion for working with children. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information. Physical ability to perform tasks as needed with reasonable accommodations available. Compensation and Benefits The base pay range for this opening is $47.12 to $58.89 hourly. Compensation will be based on skill level, relevant experience, education, and location.
