At MGM Resorts, we seek individuals like YOU to create unique and show-stopping experiences for our guests.**THE JOB:** It is the primary responsibility of the Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair all equipment and to assist in the daily operations and activities which they have been assigned and provide administrative and technical support as directed by department management. **THE STARTING RATE:** $41.40 **THE DAY-TO-DAY:*** Maintain and repair all equipment related to the successful operation of boilers, compressors, refrigeration equipment, generators and all equipment that is driven by steam, electricity, gas, air, diesel, water or any other power developing energy which has to do with or is related to the operation of all mechanical equipment* Inspect, maintain, and repair ride systems and auxiliary equipment* Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems on ride systems and auxiliary equipment* Complete work orders* Walk daily routes and make necessary repairs**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:*** Must be 21 years of age or older* High School Diploma or GED required* Minimum of 2 years of experience handling guest room calls preferred* Have the skills, ability, and knowledge To do basic plumbing, HVAC, and electrical repairs* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer maintenance guidelines* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including shifts, weekends, and holidays**THE PERKS & BENEFITS:*** Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees)* Professional and personal development opportunities through employee programs and network groups* Free meals in our MGM Grand employee dining room* Free parking on and off-shift at all MGM Resorts properties* Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally* Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts**VIEW JOB DESCRIPTION:** you ready to **JOIN THE SHOW**?
