Work Environment\n

This position operates in a fully remote setting, allowing flexibility while still providing crucial support to our clients. You will join a collaborative team of social workers, healthcare professionals, and other interdisciplinary experts dedicated to enhancing recovery experiences for clients. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional after-hours or weekend support as needed based on client circumstances. A commitment to on-call availability is essential to respond to urgent client situations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive risk and needs assessments for clients entering the Detox Center, ensuring all psychosocial factors are evaluated.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and recovery goals of clients.

• Provide counseling and emotional support to clients involved in detoxification, helping them to cope with transition challenges and navigate emotions related to recovery.

• Advocate for access to community resources, treatment options, and support systems that align with clients’ recovery journeys and personal needs.

• Engage in collaborative case consultations with medical staff, nurses, and allied health professionals to streamline care and address any potential barriers to treatment.

• Regularly monitor client progress through follow-up sessions, adapting treatment plans as necessary and documenting all interactions accurately within our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Facilitate family meetings to discuss challenges, celebrate progress, and strengthen the support network around each client.

• Educate clients regarding relapse prevention strategies, coping mechanisms, and available community support systems.

• Stay informed about the latest evidence-based practices in addiction recovery and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our care protocols.

This role focuses primarily on individuals who are undergoing detoxification due to substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
