Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients entering the detox program, considering their psychosocial, emotional, and health needs.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families, ensuring these plans are tailored to specific recovery goals.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on coping strategies, life skills, and emotional support during the detox and recovery process.

• Identify and advocate for client access to community resources, including support groups and rehabilitation services, to facilitate continuity of care post-detox.

• Regularly monitor clients’ progress through follow-up assessments and documentation, adjusting care plans as necessary.

• Facilitate family meetings to discuss treatment progress, address concerns, and strengthen the support system around the client.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with medical staff, addiction specialists, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.

• Educate clients and families about the detox process, relapse prevention, and lifestyle changes necessary for sustained recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with state regulations and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals in the detoxification phase of recovery, many of whom face multifaceted challenges related to substance use disorders. As a Social Worker, you will be instrumental in recognizing the psychosocial dimensions of addiction, providing tailored interventions that compassionately meet clients' needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited university.

• Current and valid New Jersey state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
