As a Social Worker within the detox facility, you will actively engage with clients through virtual communication platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the psychological and social needs of clients in detox, integrating emotional, mental, and substance use factors.

• Develop tailored care plans in collaboration with clients, addressing their specific recovery goals and preferences, while ensuring alignment with the interdisciplinary team addressing medical and psychological care.

• Provide counseling and emotional support, employing therapeutic techniques to help clients manage stress and navigate the challenges associated with detoxing from substances.

• Advocate for clients’ needs within the healthcare system and assist them in accessing community resources and support services integral to their recovery journey.

• Collaborate closely with nurses, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to streamline the provision of services and ensure an integrated approach to care delivery.

• Maintain regular virtual check-ins with clients to monitor progress and adapt care plans as necessary, ensuring they feel supported throughout their recovery.

• Facilitate family meetings when appropriate, educating families about addiction recovery and establishing a support network for the client.

• Document all interactions, assessments, and care plans in accordance with organizational policies and state regulations, ensuring compliance with ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed about current practices, emerging trends in social work, and policies pertaining to substance use treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work directly with clients at various stages of detoxification from substances, primarily focusing on young adults and adults experiencing substance use disorders. You will support clients who come from diverse backgrounds, each presenting with unique challenges and circumstances requiring a compassionate, customized approach to care. Your ability to build rapport and trust will be essential as clients often face sensitivity regarding their situations.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited university.

• Possession of a current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
