Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients entering detox, considering their personal histories, current challenges, and substance use patterns.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to address clients' mental health needs and support their recovery journey.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to foster personal growth and resilience.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing coping strategies, emotional regulation, and self-awareness among clients.

• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and addiction counselors, to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support to clients experiencing acute emotional or psychological distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with clients in a detoxification setting, often dealing with issues related to substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health disorders, and trauma histories. You'll play a critical role in helping clients navigate the complexities of recovery in a supportive environment that fosters healing.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, with a focus on clinical practice.

• Current and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, especially within mental health or substance use treatment settings.

• Strong understanding and application of trauma-informed care principles and evidence-based treatment practices.
