Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for Medical Surgical units to provide exceptional patient care across multiple clinical settings. The role involves flexible coverage, including weekends, call shifts, and floating to various departments as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients according to established protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor patient conditions closely, recognizing changes that require timely intervention.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols.
• Float to clinically appropriate units within scope of practice, licensure, and competencies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with proven competency in Medical Surgical nursing.
• Possess current BLS certification; NIHSS and ACLS are required for certain hospital units.
• Demonstrate ability to work flexible hours, including every other weekend and call shifts.
• Have experience with patient assessment, care planning, and interdisciplinary communication.
• Able to adapt quickly to different clinical environments and team dynamics.
• Prior experience in acute care hospital settings strongly preferred.
