Position Janitor/Housekeeper Job Qualifications A self-starter who enjoys taking on new challenges to expand his/her role Mature, responsible and self-motivated individual with a strong work-ethic Willing to get involved in anything and everything with an “It Can Be Done” attitude Able to multi-task handling several projects, while working independently or with a team Punctual and organized Highly motivated and able to follow instructions Safety conscious Job Responsibilities Cleaning offices, cafeteria, restrooms and windows Sweeping, mopping and dusting Restocking hand soap, toilet tissue and paper towels Taking out trash from the offices, restroom and cafeteria Other duties as assigned Must Have These Attributes/Attitudes/Aptitudes Self-starter that desires to take initiative Ability to work in a fast-paced, open work-space environment Ability to work well with a team or autonomously Ability to safely, physically and competently perform routine maintenance Physical Requirements Must be able to push a mop bucket with water that weighs 20 lbs. and without water 7 lbs. Must be able to use a wet mop up to 7 lbs. Must be able to pull and push a supply cart with wheels that weights 15 lbs. Must be able to stand/walk for 8–10 hours Must be able to pull trash bags out of a trash can that can weigh up to 25 lbs.
