Oracle Database Administrator

Responsibilities Resolve issues that arise in day‑to‑day management of the RPA/UDA program and provide timely responses and solutions as required Communicate at a business function level with technology personnel in both verbal and written communication Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and application support engineers, participating in cross‑functional teams and projects Provide knowledge leadership for development teams in terms of scalability and database growth, making recommendations for hardware and software upgrades Perform application database administration (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Yugabyte, and SQL Server) services including SQL code review, database performance analysis and optimization, query tuning, database application design, physical data modeling, development support, and data engineering Requirements BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related degree, or equivalent experience Experience with Oracle systems as well as application DBA support functions Experience performing Oracle 19c database administration for high availability systems, within the financial services or similar industries Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Deep understanding of Oracle database connectivity (sqlnet, listeners, scan listeners, tnsnames) Advanced Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices including software configuration management, test automation, versioning Experience with AWS database technologies, PostgreSQL and Yugabyte is a bonus Proven analytical, data mapping, and problem‑solving abilities with strong judgment, issue management and process analysis skills Benefits The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably, in good faith, believe we would pay at posting for this role. Employee pay is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
