Job Description

Location: Mid-West Area (Chicago, IL, Louisville, KY, Indianapolis, IN, or Lexington, KY)

Scope of Position

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Project Consultant to lead the marketing, promotion, and sales of innovative precast concrete solutions. This role combines technical expertise with consultative sales to deliver value-driven solutions to architects, engineers, contractors, and owners—particularly within the greenway and infrastructure development sectors.

Responsibilities

Identify customer needs and develop customized solutions that align with project goals and design requirements.
Apply technical expertise in precast concrete applications to provide design guidance, project insights, and construction recommendations.
Deliver engaging sales presentations (both in-person and virtual) to secure product specifications and project opportunities.
Build and sustain strong professional relationships with key decision-makers, including architects, engineers, contractors, and public agencies.
Develop and execute effective sales strategies for precast concrete systems and related components.
Utilize an established marketing and sales framework with a focus on continuous improvement in consultative and transactional selling.
Provide budget estimates during early project development and refine pricing strategies throughout the sales process.
Lead regional field marketing initiatives targeting design professionals and regulatory stakeholders to increase awareness and adoption of precast concrete systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, project consulting, or engineering within the construction industry.
Strong ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven success in consultative sales and relationship management.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Proficient in CRM systems and disciplined in tracking and managing client interactions.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
