Kansas Licensed Assistant Controller

To support a growing client base in Kansas, the full-time salaried Kansas Licensed Assistant Controller will manage client relationships, oversee financial reporting, and lead a team of bookkeepers while working in a flexible environment that may include remote, hybrid, or in-office arrangements. Key responsibilities Serve as the primary contact for clients, coordinating financial data collection and onboarding processes Review financial statements for accuracy and support the completion of monthly and annual close processes Supervise and mentor a team of bookkeepers, fostering continuous improvement and project management Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably with financial reporting Prior supervisory or team lead experience Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop; experience with Xero is a plus Experience working with agricultural clients is a strong advantage
