CNC-based Machine Operator (3D Metal Print Machine) 1st or 2nd shift in Auburn Hills

Qualifications: At least 3 years of Robot/CNC machine operation experience. Experience in laser systems, laser welding, laser metal deposition is desirable. Knowledge of CAM software desirable. Programming experience is a definite advantage. Basic skills in computer, such as using MS Word, Excel, etc. High‑school graduation is a must; an Associate’s degree is a definite advantage. Experience in any other machining such as grinding, milling, etc. is an advantage. Job responsibilities: Operation of proprietary Direct Metal Deposition (DMD®) Machines. Tool path editing using CAM software as needed. Metallographic preparation of samples. Assisting in other machining operations, such as surface grinding, drilling, welding, if required. Problem solving unique solutions for the advancement of a cutting‑edge technology.
