Overview Our customer, a leading infrastructure and utility services provider, is seeking a Field Licensed Surveyor to support projects across the Greater Phoenix area. This role combines hands-on fieldwork with leadership responsibilities, including managing survey teams, performing complex survey calculations, and ensuring the accuracy and success of surveying projects. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage survey crews and technicians to ensure project accuracy and efficiency Perform boundary surveys, vertical and horizontal control surveys, and associated calculations Serve as the primary liaison between survey and design teams Coordinate and schedule field crews to meet project timelines Perform fieldwork on complex or high-priority projects as needed Utilize advanced surveying equipment and tools, including optical, electronic, and GPS-based systems Ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes All other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Active Licensed Land Surveyor certification in the state of Arizona Proven experience managing survey crews and field operations Strong expertise in boundary surveys and control survey calculations Ability to work in the field environment across multiple job sites Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Windows OS) Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple teams and priorities simultaneously Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship Preferred Qualifications Experience in utility or general construction environments Familiarity with Trimble surveying equipment and technology Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Carlson software Willingness or ability to obtain licensure in Nevada Work Environment / Additional Information Field-based role within the Greater Phoenix area Travel between local project sites required Flexible schedule options available (part-time or full-time consideration) Compensation and Benefits $115,000 – $175,000 annually (flexible based on experience) Medical, Dental, Vision Coverage, Supplemental Insurance through Aflac, & 401k plan EEO Disclaimer (USA) The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the incumbent(s) of this job.
