Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct fundamental and specialized clinical laboratory assays-chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other tests-in accordance with established standards.
• Assess results for precision, solve issues, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration on lab equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for examination as necessary.
• Document all procedures meticulously, train new employees or learners, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality protocols.
• Ensure a tidy, secure work environment while aligning with regulatory and accrediting body standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health discipline with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Keep current certification active throughout your tenure.
