Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Jenison that are seeking Advanced Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced quality control plans and inspection methodologies.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for complex quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement activities using statistical process control and other quality tools.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct product and process audits to verify compliance with internal and external standards.
• Mentor junior quality engineers and provide technical guidance on quality best practices.
• Analyze quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement and predict potential issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA).
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
• Experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
