Salary Range: $75,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Jenison that are seeking skilled Supplier Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality improvement programs.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues and non-conformances.
• Collaborate with sourcing and engineering teams to establish supplier quality requirements.
• Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics and key quality indicators.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality and reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
• 3+ years experience in supplier quality or quality engineering within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and tools (e.g., FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC)
• Proven ability to conduct supplier audits and drive corrective actions
• Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys)

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced quality planning (AQP) tools like APQP and PPAP.
• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, especially SAP.
• Demonstrated experience in a lead or mentoring role.
