General Manager - Delta Sky Club | Kansas City International Airport (MCI)

Eurest, a division of Compass Group USA, is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the prestigious Delta Sky Club , where exceptional service, premium dining, and memorable guest experiences come together.

As the General Manager of the Delta Sky Club at Kansas City International Airport (MCI) , you will lead all lounge operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while driving operational excellence, financial performance, and team engagement. This high-profile leadership role oversees premium food and beverage service, team development, client partnerships, and adherence to Delta standards.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on hospitality leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, inspires high-performing teams, and is passionate about delivering best-in-class service to Delta's premium travelers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all daily Delta Sky Club operations, ensuring exceptional hospitality and service standards.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop managers and frontline associates.
• Drive employee engagement, performance management, and succession planning.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, labor, purchasing, inventory controls, and P&L performance.
• Oversee premium food and beverage programs, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, airport requirements, and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
• Analyze operational and financial metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Build strong relationships with Delta representatives, airport partners, vendors, and guests.
• Lead training initiatives and foster a culture focused on hospitality, accountability, and excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 6+ years of progressive leadership experience in upscale hospitality, premium food service, hotels, restaurants, clubs, or airport lounges.
• Proven experience leading, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.
• Strong financial acumen with budget, forecasting, labor management, and P&L responsibility.
• Experience managing food purchasing, inventory control, and cost management.
• Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-management skills.
• Strong problem-solving, coaching, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems.
• ServSafe Certification or equivalent food safety certification preferred.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
