Full-Stack Java Developer

Salary: $69,000 - 109,000 per year Requirements:

• This is a W-2-only role, and the candidate must be on our payroll; no exceptions.
• On-site work is required.
• Immediate green card sponsorship and prevailing-wage readiness are required.
• 8+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java (8/11/17+) and Spring Boot, including Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Experience with microservices architecture, REST API design, Hibernate/JPA, transaction management, and scalable, high-performance backend systems.
• Strong experience with Angular (2+) or a similar JavaScript framework, plus TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience building RESTful, GraphQL, or OData APIs, with knowledge of API design, versioning, and security.
• Hands-on AWS experience, including Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, DynamoDB, Aurora RDS, and CloudWatch, and experience developing serverless applications.
• Experience with Node.js; Python experience is a plus.
• Strong experience with relational databases such as Aurora, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
• Experience with JUnit and JMeter.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps; Infrastructure as Code, preferably AWS CDK or CloudFormation; and tools such as SonarQube, security scans, and quality gates.
• Familiarity with source control best practices, monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, and supporting production and non-production environments.
• Proven experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, AWS, and microservices, along with a strong understanding of application architecture and integration patterns.
• Strong ownership, independence, technical problem-solving, and collaboration skills; ability to work with architects and cross-functional teams and design, build, and scale systems end-to-end.
• Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or similar messaging and streaming platforms are a plus.
• AWS certifications, event-driven architecture experience, and familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Developer, or Kiro are a plus.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using modern frameworks.
• Build backend services with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Develop and integrate RESTful, GraphQL, or OData APIs.
• Create responsive UI components with Angular or similar frameworks.
• Develop and deploy serverless and cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Write high-quality, testable code and maintain strong unit and integration test coverage.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and support smooth deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and help ensure high availability and performance.
• Follow and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
