Amazing Dietary Aide NeededThe Dietary Aide assists in food preparation, food tray preparation and delivery to facility residents; cleans the kitchen and dining area under the supervision of the Dietary Manager or Cook by performing the following duties.Read production orders on diet cards on trays to determine items to place on trayPlace items such as eating utensils, napkins, and condiments on traysPrepare food items such as sandwiches, salads, soups, and beverages under the supervision of the cookPlace servings in blender to make foods for soft or liquid dietsApportion and place food servings on plates and trays according to diet list on diet cardExamine filled tray for completeness and quality assurance of food tray and place on cartPush carts to dining room or halls and serve trays to residentsCollect and stack dirty dishes on cart and return cart to kitchenStore food and supplies properlyWash dishes and clean work area, tables, cabinets, and ovensCollect and place garbage and trash in designated containersRecord amount and type of special food items served to residentsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.
