Our client, a global leader in industrial automation solutions, is actively seeking an experienced contracts paralegal with 7+ years of experience to join its in-house legal team in its office located in a western suburb of Chicago. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing the company’s commercial contract lifecycle while working closely with the General Counsel. This is an excellent opportunity to work at a leading company in a new position that is designed to enhance and contribute to the company’s continued growth and success.

· Work closely with the General Counsel and collaborate with multiple teams (Commercial, Finance, IT, Real Estate, Product, HR)

Responsibilities:
· Assist with managing commercial contract lifecycle, including MSAs, NDAs, distribution agreements, and vendor contracts
· Handle corporate subsidiary management (U.S. and international), including officer/director maintenance, annual filings, and business registrations
· Update contract templates, review supplier contracts for technology products and services, and draft transaction documents
· Maintain and enhance internal legal guidelines, process outlines, and template libraries
· Assist with due diligence, UBO, and KYC/AML requests
· Track litigation matters and compile periodic reports
· Assist with research activities and the initial drafting of responses to legal inquiries and demands
· Monitor intellectual property renewals and coordinate with outside counsel
· Process vendor reports and bills for payment approval
Required Qualifications:
· 7+ years of contracts experience in an in-house legal department
· Distribution/manufacturing industry in-house experience preferred
· Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate required
· Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Teams, Office, Excel)
· Experience with Salesforce, CLMs, and DocuSign
· International operations experience is a plus

Compensation:
The anticipated base compensation for this position is $95,000 - $125,000 + bonus.
